We (Orbit) are collecting your personal data for the purposes of completing a public consultation process as part of the Cruden application for planning permission in relation to residential development at Howdenburn in Jedburgh.

We will use your personal data for the purposes of collating responses to the Consultation, which will be shared with Cruden, and on an anonymised basis as explained below. We will also use your personal data to contact you in relation to comments and feedback you have provided in relation to the Consultation, if necessary.

It is in our legitimate interests and those of Cruden to collect your personal data as it provides us and Cruden with the information that we need to keep accurate records of your participation in the Consultation, and so that we can contact you to clarify or respond to your comments.

How long do we keep this data?

Your personal data will be securely retained until the planning application and/or planning appeal has been fully determined, and then your personal data will be securely deleted.

Who has access to this data?

Only Orbit will collect and store all personal data submitted as part of the consultation.

Comments and feedback provided as part of the consultation will be received directly by Orbit and shared with Cruden. It will also be shared by members of the project team and the Planning Authority (as part of the planning application process) on an anonymised basis only.
